Well I like your questioning. Lets start off with not only did they win a title in 97 but they went back in 01 and loss to Duke. Final Four and Elite 8 apperances. And to cap it off lets not forget the number of NBA players that are playing in the league that come from Point Guard U. Im not takin ne thing away from Illinois. But I gotta defend what is undoubtebly one of the elite programs in college basketball. Go Arizona!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend has a cousin who likes Arizona, he’s 21, and he accepts the loss, and even says it was one of the best games ever. Tou’re 37, and you’re whining about it. Third, obviously our alumni are smarter than yours because of the test scores for each school. Lastly, Illinois would have won a championship in ‘43-’44 but the players chose to go to World War II proving that we are brave and intellegent.

Blubbering on the one hand about UNC getting all the calls, whilst totally oblivious to the ridiculous favortism given to Illinois in the final minutes in the elite 8. Hell, even Dick Enberg was shocked at the non-calls. Notice his surprise when the midcourt mugging wasn’t whistled…”Oh….and they don’t call the foul!!” Arizona got reamed by the refs, plain and simple. Illinois doesn’t advance without their help. Thank god for UNC!!

UNC was nothing but a bunch of cheating punks who would of lost the game if it was played fairly. The game was won by UNC before it even started and everyone on that court besides us knew it only because the was fixed whether you or anyone else wants 2 admit it or not. I watched the god game my self & i’ve never seen basketball played that way and it was ridiculous..the sportsmanship in that game was down right elementary..UNC would of lost if the game was played fairly period.
