Impeachment trials are not the same as judicial trials. In impeachment trials, you have no rights to due process. The legislative body doesn’t have to let you present witnesses, nor evidence in your defense. This is the same as on the Federal level. So, our Congress could’ve impeached Bush/Cheney at any time, without allowing either of them to present any evidence or witnesses. But Nancy Pelosi, of course, took impeachment off the table – and America has suffered for it.

He has never done anything but good for his citizens and he does not seem like the type who would ever commit a crime. Also, There is no evidence that he has ever taken bribes, and there is no evidence of criminal wrongdoing either.
