Are there any places to skimboard near St. Louis?

Im looking for a place to skimboard near St. louis wether it be on the river or another body of water that isn’t to far from St. Louis. I live on Scott AFB in illinois which is about 25 minutes from St. Louis.

There are some sand bars in the river that work well. Just gotta find em
