is it true you can’t hit a man in a uniform?

I know that is a dumb question… but I had this friend who claimed he worked in CAP and practically snapped on me every time I jokingly hit him. I don’t know anything about the military, so I was wondering if it is true. Also, where is the nearest Air Force Reserves base in illinois besides Scott? Where can I find articles about the Reserves responding to Hurricane Katrina? Thanks

I know if you hit a Soldier and they press charges, the military can come after you for destruction of government property, or attempted atleast.

    The same laws apply when hitting a civilian vs hitting a service member. It sounds like your buddy is a little up-tight.
